New Life is managed and organized by a group of experienced and actively involved individuals who comprise the Board of Directors. These individuals are responsible for general policy procedures and spiritual and financial direction

The organization also relies on the advice of a Council of Reference made up of nine individuals who work closely with correctional services, pastoral services, and the Ontario Court of Justice.

Three of the New Life directors work in the ministry on a full-time basis, ably assisted by 11 other full-time staff, as well as a large number of volunteers. The ministry thrives largely because of the time, effort, and experience that volunteers contribute to the ministry. Correspondence course counsellors usually come in to the office once a week to mark and counsel their students’ courses. Approximately 25 volunteers presently volunteer as counsellors, while others complete the myriad of secretarial tasks, and yet others volunteer their time running programs in prisons.
